Here are some of the key features of the new CA syllabus:

Four levels: The new CA course will have four levels – Foundation, Intermediate, Final, and Post Qualification Courses.

The Foundation level will have four papers, while the Intermediate and Final levels will have SIX papers each.

Integrated approach: The new syllabus will integrate the theoretical knowledge with practical application through case studies, simulations, and projects. The focus will be on developing analytical and problem-solving skills.

Electives: The new syllabus will offer electives in the Final level, allowing students to specialize in areas of their interest, such as international taxation, forensic accounting, and financial services and capital markets.

Digital learning: The new syllabus will leverage technology to provide digital learning resources and online assessment tools. This will enable students to learn at their own pace and track their progress.

Soft skills: The new syllabus will also focus on developing soft skills, such as communication, leadership, and teamwork, which are essential for success in the professional world.

Overall, the new CA syllabus aims to prepare students for the changing business environment and equip them with the knowledge, skills, and attitude required to become successful professionals in the accounting and finance industry.
